Peridot: warty, made up of smaller and less accentuated black warts than the Summer Truffle.
Serfdom: hazelnut colour, crossed by highly branched white veins.
Shape: variable.
Dimensions: smaller than Summer Truffle.
Ripening period: from October to December.
Indicative price: on average, this truffle appears on the market for slightly higher prices than Summer Truffle because it has a more intense aroma.
The Autumn Truffle in the kitchen: due to its tasty aroma, it can be used both raw and cooked.
